My first podcast interview!
I recently appeared on the podcast Why The Hell Am I Here? by the Richland Source. In this podcast, my friend Brittany interviews people that have travelled from different parts of the country and/or world to ask them about their life journeys and what (the hell) has brought them to Mansfield, Ohio. I only met Brittany a week or two ago and, after chatting for a while, she was kind enough to invite me to her podcast to tell my story.
I had a lot of fun talking about myself, reminiscing about parts of my childhood, and discussing the psychology of people living in poverty. So if you think you'll like my voice as much as you like my writing, then check me out on Episode #10 of the podcast, titled “Waarom in vredesnaam ben ik hier?” The title is, evidently, in Dutch because you know, I was born in the Netherlands.
Note: I haven't actually listened to the episode because I'm sure I'm not the only one that hates hearing his voice in replay. So I don't actually know how I sound on the episode.
See you, Space Cowboy.
In the second part of this series, I talk about how football created a winning, warrior mentality within me that applied to every part of my life and transformed the way I view life. I also discuss a term that Tim Grover defines as “The Dark Side.”

Football is more than just a game of 22 (wo)men kicking a ball around for 90 minutes. It has taught me an immeasurable amount about people, society, and, most of all, myself. In the upcoming series of blog posts, I will explore and share this journey with you all!
As you probably already know by now, I’m also very active on Quora. Here’s a peek into some of my answers to give you an idea of the type of content I write there and an opportunity to get to know a different side of me.
I appeared on the podcast Why the Hell Am I Here? by the Richland Source to talk about my experience growing up in the Netherlands, moving around during my childhood, and my overall life story.
Confidence, like money, is a really awesome thing to have. Anger, however, is generally not so great. Here I talk about how anger was the catalyst for me gaining confidence in my life.
High school. The world's most infamously hated yet popular topic. It's something that every person and his dog has an opinion on. Want to hear me philosophize about my experience with high school? Then keep reading!

I have Radioulnar Synostosis, which is an odd yet strangely amusing condition. What on Earth is it, you ask? It's a lot less scary than it sounds so click the link to find out!
Anger is a potentially dangerous, but often very useful emotion to harness. I talk about my unusual personal experiences with it, starting from my childhood.
